Community Holiday Food Collection

Calling the East Rochester Business Community - the East Rochester Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate with the annual Community Holiday Food Collection event! What does your participation look like? It's easy - just host a collection barrel or box (provided by the Chamber) at your business location, put the event Window Sticker (also provided by the Chamber) in your window to alert visitors that you are participating - and then let them leave their donated item in the barrel or box - it's really that easy!

Important Details:

  • Please REGISTER your interest in participating by THURSDAY, November 14, 2024
  • Barrels or boxes will be delivered to participating businesses on MONDAY, November 18, 2024
  • Barrels or boxes AND THEIR CONTENTS will be picked up on MONDAY, December 9, 2024
  • Collect cash, gift cards/certificates and NON-PERISHABLE FOOD items (please secure the cash, gift cards/certificates daily)
  • If your barrel or box gets filled and in need of emptying, please contact Bill or Pete at 585-381-1565 to schedule an early contents pickup

ALL items collected will be delivered to the East Rochester Community Center for distribution to families with a need this holiday season.
