Area Chambers Co-Sponsor Customer Service Seminar

Eighteen local chambers of commerce are co-sponsoring a special event aimed at helping businesses improve their customer service.

The program, set for Sept. 27 at the Doubletree Hotel, 1111 Jefferson Road, Henrietta is entitled "Designing the Perfect Customer Experience" and it combines networking with a workshop led by nationally recognized speaker and author Gregg Lederman.

Lederman, founder and managing partner of Brand Integrity, is the author of the award-winning book, Achieve Brand Integrity. A graduate of the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, he is a frequent speaker at conferences, corporate programs and universities on experience management and culture change.

The program opens with networking from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., followed by a workshop running until 10:30 a.m. which focuses on helping participants develop, design and successfully implement a positive customer experience for their business. It is based on a series of typical “touch points,” those occasions when customers interact with your people, products, and/or services in ways that lead them to have a good, bad, or indifferent experience.

Cost for the program is $45/person for a member of the participating chambers, or $35 each if more than one person is attending from the same company on the same registration. Breakfast is included.

The non-member rate is $65 per person, or $50 each if more than one person is attending from the same company on the same registration.
