Announcing The 2012 Sam Urzetta Alumni Classic
For the sixth consecutive year, the East Rochester Alumni Foundation will proudly host the Sam Urzetta Alumni Classic golf tournament at Lima Country Club. The tournament will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012. Two hundred and twenty golfers (fifty five foursomes) are expected to participate with reservations being accepted on a first come, first served basis. Tournament details and the 2012 Entry Form is attached. This year's entry fee of $85.00 per player remains unchanged from 2011.
A few of the changes being made this year include:
An opportunity for foursomes to specify which course they'd like to play. If you have a preference for Charleston Pines (the "Old Course") or Island Oaks just note that on your entry form. Requests will be honored to the extent we are able while still maintaining a proper balance of players across both courses. Early registration is suggested if you have a strong course preference.
In an attempt to minimize the confusion and uncertainty caused by last minute registrations, we're offering an "Early Bird" drawing where all foursomes who have registered and paid by June 30, 2012 will be entered in a drawing which will take place on August 3rd. The winning foursome will receive a full refund of their $340.00 entry fee. It's worth noting that the odds of winning will be better than one in fifty since foursomes registering after June 30th will not be eligible to participate in the drawing.
Due to popular demand, we've eliminated the rather unpopular 2011 rule which prohibited a player whose drive was used from taking the second shot. A small concession for sure but.... we do aim to please.
Finally, please print the sign-up form and return it to me with your check(s) as soon as possible. Also, if you'd be willing to sponsor a hole for yourself, your business or class or as a memorial to a family member or friend please specify your sponsorship level in the "Sign-up" section of page two and add the amount of your donation to your registration fee.

ERCN TV-12 is now streaming LIVE!
ERCN TV-12 is now streaming live. Web-streaming provides almost anyone with a computer or a handheld device that is flash-player capable, the ability to view our programming. If you do not have Time Warner Cable service, or if you live outside the broadcast area, you now can watch our community access station and stay current with Village news, meetings, events and programming of local interest, specific to East Rochester. ERCN TC-12 programming streams 24 hours a day, seven days a week and contains only East Rochester programming, where-as Channel 12 on Time Warner Cable, shares programming content times with Pittsford.

Upcoming Monthly Meetings
Our Chamber of Commerce meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Grapevine Restaurant on Main Street in the Village. The meetings start at 8:00 am and end by 9:15 AM.
